IEW believes India’s energy transition will play an essential role in addressing global energy demands with the funda of growth, collaboration, and transition. India to witness large energy demand in the next two decades due to its rapid economic growth along with the increasing population. India is going to play a vital role in global energy markets. Our country should be ready for the challenges of energy security and environmental sustainability. India aims to achieve a target of net-zero emissions by 2070, due to which about $60 billion in investments are underway for setting up the energy infrastructures like pipelines, terminals, regasification facilities, etc.

Narendra Modi In IEW

“India’s energy security is important for global growth, as it is the world’s fastest-growing economy. We must not promote any restrictions on the supply of energy and stability in the energy market should be ensured. India is committed to clean energy and the environment”, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while inaugurating the IEW 2023 in Bengaluru.

“India is one of the strongest voices in the world for energy transition and for developing new resources of energy. Unprecedented possibilities are emerging in India that is moving with a resolution of a Viksit Bharat”, Modi also added.

Opportunity for private players:

Exhibitions like India Energy Week offer an excellent platform for private companies to showcase and connect with other companies globally. It creates brand awareness within the industry domain. Private players get an opportunity to collab with public limited companies to mutually achieve the common goal.

For example, in a recent bilateral collaboration between India-Guyana for various developments in Guyana including oil and gas purchases and energy demands, Guyana is seeking private players to participate and help achieve their goal.

With the rapid growth in economic activities, energy demands are also high, and turbine manufacturers like Chola Turbo Machinery International might help energy companies attain their target with high-performance, energy-efficient steam turbines and energy solutions

No Energy, No Activity:
