Chola Turbo Machinery International (CTMI) Private Limited was featured at the India Energy Week(IEW) at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre. IEW was a three-day event that kicked off on 6th February and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CTMI was one of the 650-plus companies operating within hydrocarbons, alternative and renewables, utilities and power generation, construction and industrialization, technology & services, and government and academia sectors featured at the IEW.
CTMI was at stall A40 in Hall #5 showcasing steam turbine products and sustainable turbine energy solutions. Being the top steam turbine manufacturer CTMI is focused on delivering energy-efficient and reliable turbine products and energy solutions. The energy trend is shifting from conventional energy sources to clean energy sources and CTMI is onto it.
CTMI has expanded its business network in more than 30 countries globally and is the trusted partner for leading private and public agencies for sustainable energy solutions. For decades in the energy sector, CTMI has delivered high-performance turbines to a wide range of manufacturing industries that helped them to achieve energy demands and cut operating costs.
India Energy Week 2023 is powered by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and supported by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and is the very first major event under India’s G20 Presidency. IEW attracted 650 plus power companies as exhibitors between 6-8 February 2023 held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).
Moreover, the event witnessed 30,000+ energy professionals, 650+ exhibiting companies, 8,000+ conference delegates, 500+ international speakers, and 80+ conference sessions.
IEW believes India’s energy transition will play an essential role in addressing global energy demands with the funda of growth, collaboration, and transition. India to witness large energy demand in the next two decades due to its rapid economic growth along with the increasing population. India is going to play a vital role in global energy markets. Our country should be ready for the challenges of energy security and environmental sustainability. India aims to achieve a target of net-zero emissions by 2070, due to which about $60 billion in investments are underway for setting up the energy infrastructures like pipelines, terminals, regasification facilities, etc.
“India’s energy security is important for global growth, as it is the world’s fastest-growing economy. We must not promote any restrictions on the supply of energy and stability in the energy market should be ensured. India is committed to clean energy and the environment”, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while inaugurating the IEW 2023 in Bengaluru.
“India is one of the strongest voices in the world for energy transition and for developing new resources of energy. Unprecedented possibilities are emerging in India that is moving with a resolution of a Viksit Bharat”, Modi also added.
Exhibitions like India Energy Week offer an excellent platform for private companies to showcase and connect with other companies globally. It creates brand awareness within the industry domain. Private players get an opportunity to collab with public limited companies to mutually achieve the common goal.
For example, in a recent bilateral collaboration between India-Guyana for various developments in Guyana including oil and gas purchases and energy demands, Guyana is seeking private players to participate and help achieve their goal.
With the rapid growth in economic activities, energy demands are also high, and turbine manufacturers like Chola Turbo Machinery International might help energy companies attain their target with high-performance, energy-efficient steam turbines and energy solutions
The economy is one of the main pillars of the country’s strength and development and the economy relies on energy consumption. A country’s strength is linked to the amount of energy consumption, so it goes “no energy, no activity”. Due to the increase in the large energy demands it is necessary to come up with clean and sustainable energy sources for future energy security.
“Chola Turbo Machinery International works on innovative turbine designs making turbines more efficient and fit for a wide range of industries. In this India Energy Week, 2023 we have showcased our latest and highly performing steam turbine model that is designed for the modern industrial needs.
